Experience with Resolution: 4 Architecture

The Dwell Home was the winning entry for the a prefabricated home competition sponsored by Dwell Magazine. Constructed in just 5 days in a factory in Salisbury, North Carolina before being transported to a site outside of Raleigh in Pittsboro, NC; The Dwell Home was a groundbreaking case study in using using modern prefabricated construction techniques to create a warm, but modern home for a growing North Carolina family.

The 2,400 square foot house was designed from the inside out, using a compact floor plan to reduce construction cost and strategic location of windows and openings to maximize connection to the wooded site. Ample outdoor decks extended the living space outside and provide a welcoming space to entertain.
